  TEMPORARY DANGER AREA NEWTON STEWARD ED D598 COMPLEX,
1 September to 29 November 2021

Between 1 September and 29 November 2021 on weekdays only, a Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS) will operate near Newton Stewart, to carry out flights for the purposes of mineral surveying in the local area.
As the aircraft will be operating Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLoS) and has no Detect and Avoid capability a number of Temporary Dangers Areas (TDA) will be established to facilitate the safe operation over the Newton Stewart area.
The TDA complex will constitute of 3 Danger Areas to facilitate transiting and surveying areas of the RPAS. A chart of the area is included within the briefing document.
Only the required Danger Areas will be activated and only for required duration to minimise impact to other airspace users.
The TDA complex consists of 3 areas, only the areas required to be surveyed or transited by UAVE will be activated.

REQUIRED DANGER AREAS WILL BE NOTIFIED BY NOTAM

EG D598A. When required between 1 September and 29 November 2021, a TDA is established within the area bounded by straight lines joining successively the following points:
  1. 545505N 0041922W;

  2. 550028N 0043129W;

  3. 550026N 0043528W;

  4. 545749N 0043512W;

  5. 545403N 0042228W;

  6. 545408N 0042008W;

  7. 545505N 0041922W.

The TDA is established between surface and 1700 FT AMSL.
Within EG D598A, during the hours of operation, a Danger Area Activity Information Service (DAAIS) will be available from Prestwick Approach on Freq: 129.450 MHz.
EG D598B. When required between 1 September and 29 November 2021, a TDA is established within the area bounded by straight lines joining successively the following points:
  1. 550028N 0043129W;

  2. 545505N 0041922W;

  3. 550102N 0041918W;

  4. 550214N 0041611W;

  5. 550521N 0042312W;

  6. 550446N 0043125W;

  7. 550028N 0043129W.

11 Within EG D598B, during the hours of operation, a DAAIS will be available from Prestwick Approach on Freq: 129.450 MHz.
12  EG D598C. When required between 1 September and 29 November 2021, a TDA is established within the area bounded by straight lines joining successively the following points:
