A flying display and associated rehearsals will be held at the Abingdon Air and Country Show, Abingdon Aerodrome, Oxfordshire, on 10 and 11 September 2021. A large number of aircraft will be engaged in high-energy manoeuvres; therefore, the Secretary of State for Transport has decided it necessary to introduce Restriction of Flying Regulations under Article 239 of the Air Navigation Order 2016.
Subject to paragraph 3, between:
  1. 1200 hours and 1400 hours on 10 September 2021, and

  2. 0700 hours and 1700 hours on 11 September 2021

no aircraft shall fly below 6000 FT AMSL within the area of a circle having a radius of 4 NM whose centre is at 514128N 0011900W.

The restrictions stated in Paragraph 2 shall not apply to any aircraft:
  1. flying in accordance with a clearance issued by the air traffic control unit at Royal Air Force Brize Norton;

  2. making an approach to or departure from Oxford Airport whilst under the control of the air traffic control unit at that airport; or

  3. flying with the prior permission of the Abingdon Air and Country Show Flying Display Director who may be contacted on telephone number 07977-901711.

The times mentioned in regulation 2 are Co-ordinated Universal Time (UTC), which is one hour behind British Summer Time.
