  RESTRICTION OF FLYING REGULATIONS: RAYMILL HOUSE, LACOCK, WILTSHIRE, EG R106, EFFECTIVE 9 SEPTEMBER 2021

The Secretary of State has decided that it is necessary in the public interest to restrict flying in the vicinity of the Raymill House, Lacock, Wiltshire, having regard for the significance of the security considerations associated with this location by reason of it being the residence of a member of the Royal Family; the following Restriction of Flying Regulations has been made under Article 239 of the Air Navigation Order 2016.
Subject to paragraph (2a and 2b) no aircraft is to fly below 1600 FT AMSL within the area bounded by a circle of 1 NM radius whose centre is at 512523N 0020646W.
  1. Paragraph 2 does not apply to any aircraft operating for or on behalf of:

    1. the National Police Air Service;

    2. the Helicopter Emergency Medical Services;

    3. the Maritime and Coastguard Agency for the purposes of Search and Rescue operations;

    4. The Queen’s Helicopter Flight; or

  2. Flying in accordance with an agreed exemption issued by, or with the permission of, the Wiltshire Police Constabulary Royalty Protection Department which may be contacted directly via the police non-emergency telephone number 101 (option 5); or via the Wiltshire Police website at www.wiltshire.police.uk.

This Restricted Area has been designated EG R106 and full details will be incorporated into the United Kingdom AIP at ENR 5.1 and included on all relevant aeronautical charts.
