TEMPORARY DANGER AREA (ST MARY’S TO PERRANPORTH) BVLOS UAS AIRBRIDGE
12 APRIL 2021 TO 21 MAY 2021

During the period between 12 April 2021 and 21 May 2021, an Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) will conduct flights on behalf of the NHS to provide logistics support in response to COVID-19 between Scilly Isles/St Mary’s and Perranporth Aerodromes.
As the UAS will be operating Beyond Visual Line of Sight and does not have full Detect and Avoid capability, a Temporary Danger Area (TDA) complex will be established. The UAS has an ADS-B and Mode-S transponder in addition to navigation a position lighting.
Whilst the UAS operates in the vicinity of Perranporth Aerodrome, the UAS will operate Visual Line of Sight (VLOS). Therefore, no TDA is required around Perranporth Aerodrome. A NOTAM will be promulgated by the sponsor to inform airspace users the UAS will be operating VLOS. The UAS will transition to BVLOS when it enters the TDA complex.
The TDA complex is sponsored by Windracers in accordance with Airspace Change reference ACP-2020-090.
The TDA complex consists of five areas. A chart of the complex is included within this Aeronautical Information Circular.
The required TDAs will be notified for activation no less than 24 hours prior to the planned flights.

REQUIRED DANGER AREAS WILL BE NOTIFIED BY NOTAM
