  TEMPORARY DANGER AREA (East of Aberdeen) BVLOS UAS SURVEYING
8 April 2021 to 6 June 2021

During the period between 8 April 2021 and 6 June 2021, an Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) will conduct atmospheric surveying around two Oil Rig platforms situated up to 140 miles East of Aberdeen. The UAS will depart from Hatton Airstrip and operate between surface and 800 FT AMSL.
As the UAS will be operating Beyond Visual Line of Sight and does not have full Detect and Avoid capability, a Temporary Danger Area (TDA) will be established sponsored by FlyLogix Ltd. The UAS has an ADS-B and Mode-S transponder.
The TDA complex is sponsored by FlyLogix Ltd in accordance with Airspace Change reference ACP-2020-106.
The TDA complex consists of three areas, only those segments required for a flight will be activated to minimise impact to other air users. A chart of the complex is included within this Aeronautical Information Circular.
The required TDAs will be notified for activation no less than 24 hours prior to the planned flights.

REQUIRED DANGER AREAS WILL BE NOTIFIED BY NOTAM

EG D798A. When required between 8 April 2021 and 6 June 2021, a TDA is established within the area bounded by straight lines joining successively the following points:
  1. 572723N 0015818W;

  2. 572930N 0013025W;

  3. 571921N 0013025W;

  4. 572124N 0015818W;

  5. 572723N 0015818W.

Within EG D798A, a Danger Area Crossing Service (DACS), will be available from Aberdeen Radar on frequency 134.1 MHz (Aberdeen Radar).
The TDA is established between surface and 1000 FT AMSL.
EG 798B. When required between 8 April 2021 and 6 June 2021, a TDA is established within the area bounded by straight lines joining successively the following points:
