  RESTRICTION OF FLYING REGULATIONS - OLD WARDEN FLYING EVENTS 2021

A number of events for the general public will be held at Old Warden Aerodrome, Bedfordshire on certain dates between 2 May and 2 October 2021. A large number of aircraft will be involved in high-energy maneuvers; therefore, the Secretary of State for A Transport has decided that it is necessary to introduce Restriction of Flying Regulations under Article 239 of the Air Navigation Order 2016.

CHART AREA A

Subject to paragraph 5, on the dates and times listed in paragraph 4, no aircraft is to fly below 3500 FT AMSL within the area bounded by:
  1. the clockwise arc of a circle having a radius of 3 NM, centred on 520512N 0001907W, between 520713N 0001528W, and 520810N 0002010W; and

  2. a straight line joining the points 520810N 0002010W and 520708N 0001947W; and

  3. a clockwise arc of a circle having a radius of 2 NM, centred on 520512N 0001907W, between 520708N 0001947W, and 520631N 0001643W; and

  4. a straight line joining the points 520631N 0001643W and 520713N 0001528W.

CHART AREA B
Subject to paragraph 5, on the dates and times listed in paragraph 4, no aircraft is to fly above 1300 FT AMSL or below 3500 FT AMSL within the area bounded successively by:
  1. a straight line joining the points 520708N 0001947W and 520810N 0002010W; and

  2. the clockwise arc of a circle having a radius of 3 NM, centred on 520512N 0001907W, between 520810N 0002010W and520713N 0001528W; and

  3. a straight line joining points 520713N 0001528W and 520631N 0001643W; and

  4. an anti-clockwise arc of a circle having a radius of 2 NM, centred on 520512N 0001907W, between the points 520631N 0001643W and 520708N 0001947W.

The restrictions defined in paragraph 2 and 3 are established on the dates in column 2 between the times listed in column 3.

The times mentioned in paragraph 4 are Co-ordinated Universal Time (UTC) which is one hour behind British Summer Time.
